HELPING NATIVE COMMUNITIES

One of the reasons we decided to start Yaku is to help Indigenous Communities to be seen and have more movement in their beautiful ancestral work and rituals.

Kichwa, Kamsá, Inga, Waorani and other indigenous communities, have beautiful artwork, music, landscapes and their philosophy contain the secrets of the Universe, which they get access to through nature, which they have been observing and investigating for many generations.

Nature has been the teacher for them and is from there that they’ve gotten so much wisdom about healing plants, how to grow food, how to learn from the plants and they’ve also gotten so much spiritual and personal knowledge.

Nature is a teacher and they know better, that’s why, we invite you to connect with the beautiful knowledge they have to offer to you, through talks, ceremonies, rituals, songs, dances and much more.

Eco Tourism

Eco Tourism is one of the biggest solutions we have offer right now to these communities, because as more people are getting aware of the wisdom they have to offer and how much we can learn by them, their medicine, ceremonies and more, the more recognition, respect and help they’ll get.

They want to help to heal as many people as possible.

People need to wake up from the modern society dream, which is causing so many diseases and mental health problems. For this, they invite us to re-connect with our Souls, with nature, with Spirit and with the sacred knowledges which are the Universal language of nature and the cosmos.

«In the Kichwa philosophy, and many others, the snake represents the knowledge. And we want people to walk through that knowledge once they come here.»

About «Tinkunakuy Kichwa University» by Tupac Amaru

The communities and some of the members of the Yaku Team have been working for some years now and are like family by now. And yes, they will obtain their monetary payments as they do with their other clients.

By taking touristic experiences with Yaku Retreats, you’re helping the Communities Kichwa, Inga, Kamsá, Ngóbe, Borukas, Waorani and others, to be seen, recognised, respected so they can get more help to solve the problems that the Native Communities and their territories are going through right now. Through Eco Tourism, we obtain greater visibility for the social, cultural, environmental and spiritual problems that exist in our society today.

We want to generate balance on Earth, heal nature, heal our planet, protect it’s beings and inhabitants, and to success in this mission we must be more united than ever.

Let’s help make awareness and ancestral wisdom visible and visit and help our brothers and sisters.

Help yourself, friends and family by re-connecting with the sacred knowledge you might have forgotten. Rest in nature, learn from it and allow yourself to experiment the real you.
